Science - I am what one might call a quantum enthusiast. I am that freak that actually enjoys reading scientific journals. My readings in this area range from the 'classics': Bohr, Oppenheimer, Heisenberg, Einstein, and Plank; to more modern authors like Herbert, Shankar, Cohen, and Kaku. Of course, I read the true classics, too. Stuff like Ptolemy, Kepler, Plato, and so on. Still, the fathers of the Quantum movement form the foundation of how I think.

Religion / Supernatural - I do believe in a higher power, whatever you want to call it. I am prone to simply use the name God. I do not, however, prescribe to any one particular religion. Some people seem to think that this is in opposition to my scientific leanings, a lot of people are quite surprized to find I believe in something of the sort. But there's simply too much coincidence in current science to believe that the hundreds of thousands of exact things, in the exact order needed, at the exact moment needed happened to create... Well... Everything.

My theories on other 'supernatural' happenings fall back into quantum theories for explainations. That is not to say it is impossible for ghosts to exist. However, I firmly believe that these 'ghosts' can, and will in the future, be explained using quantum physics.

Politics - I am a Libertarian. A lot of people seem to think that means liberal, or a Democrat. But it doesn't and I'm not either. When liberals read my rants or discuss politics with me, they seem to decide I'm conservative, or a Republican. But I'm not. I have not yet, nor do I think I will ever, vote for a Republican president. I did vote Democrat once, and sorely regretted it.

So, what does being a Libertarian mean?

A Libertarian is a person who believes in common sense. Period.

You want to be in a same-sex relationship? Go for it, I don't care.

You want to smoke pot? Go for it, I don't care.

You want to buy a gun to target shoot, or hunt with it? Go for it, I don't care.

Basically, what it comes down to is, what you do with your money is none of my business. What you do in the privacy of your home, so long as it hurts no one else, is none of my business.

Entertainment - I enjoy a wide variety of things, but most of what I will post here, in terms of entertainment, will be relating to movies, music, and gaming.

Favourite TV show: NCIS, though Doctor Who is working its way in.

Favourite Recent Movie: Star Trek - It's really hard to pick, since there haven't been a lot of movies lately I've cared for.

Favourite Band: Flogging Molly

Favourite Recent Game: Red Dead Redemption, though Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood may have what it takes to trump it.
